Anni's work is characterized by thick brush-strokes and striking, vibrant colors. Her subject matter is varied, reflecting her Taiwanese background, her travels around the world, and the beauty of the every day. Her style is fluid and unconstrained, with influences from various artists and movements, as well as a refreshing boldness that is wholly original.

From a young age, Anni has excelled creatively as well as academically. She attended the prestigious Taipei First Girls' High School (臺北市立第一女子高級中學 or '北一女') and later obtained a degree in Journalism from National Chengchi University (國立政治大學), one of the most prominent universities in Taiwan.

After immigrating to the United States, she owned and ran a successful business for decades while raising two daughters. 

Now retired, Anni resides in the United States in a lovely house by the water with her husband, Tan-Yu. Her two daughters visit frequently, and she paints every day.
